Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Minimum Entry Requirements
The minimum entry requirement to the Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is:

1. Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with at least 5 credits in Science subjects

2. Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) with 1 Principal pass and two subsidiaries in science subjects obtained at the same sitting or its equivalent.

3. Qualifications equivalent to Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) as shall be determined by the National Council in consultation with the Uganda National Examinations Board.

4. A Certificate in Engineering programmes obtained from a recognized institution of higher learning.

Duration of the Program
The minimum period to complete the Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is two years.
