Registration

General Registration Exercise.

Every new or continuing student is mandated to register as students with the Academic Registrar immediately he/she reports at the college for the first time or at the beginning of every semester. The new student is given a student registration number which will be a unique user reference all the time at the college even after completion. The registered student shall be issued a campus card.  The registration exercise will run concurrently with training during the first day of reporting and first week of the semester. Each Instructor shall have genuine register from the Academic  Registrar containing a list of students to study  particular course units.  A student who enters classes or workshops without registering as a student new or continuing shall have committed an offence and shall be liable to pay double the amount of tuition fees.

Registration as a Resident.

Both new and continuing students shall register as resident students at the beginning of every semester / term /  Registered resident students are allocated rooms and beds in the halls of residence by the Dean of Students. A student residing in the college hostels illegally during a particular semester shall be charged double the hostel fees, suspended or dismissed.

Registration For Feeding.

Feeding is optional.  Students who wish to be fed by the college shall register with the Dean of Students first and issued with the meal card.  Students who forge their way out to the college kitchen to get meals without registering as feeding students shall pay double the feeding amount, suspended or dismissed. The feeding students shall carry a meal cards every time they are to have meals.

Registration for a Programme  

A student shall register for only one study programme.  A student who registers for more than one programme or studies more than one academic programme at the same time is charged double the Functional and Tuition fees.

Registration For Examination.

Registration for the External and National Examinations is conducted during the period stipulated by the assessment bodies. The college shall set the deadline for examination registration seven days before the official deadline set by the external or National assessment Boards to enable registration the candidate in time.  A student who will not have registered within the college set deadline shall be categorized as late or to have failed to register.
