African College of Commerce and Technology – ACCT is an Educational Training Institution established on 14th April 1986 to impact skills in Technical and Vocational Education and Training – TVET at Certificate and Diploma Levels.
- ACCT is accredited by the National Council for Higher Education of Uganda, Licenced by the Ministry of Education and Sports, Accredited by the Technical Vocational Education and Training – TVET Council.
- Affiliated by Kyambogo University for the Diploma in Instructor and Technical Techer Education DITTE since 2015
- Accredited by the Uganda Vocational and Technical Assessment Board for Diploma and Certificate Programmes in Technical and Business: Assessment Centre UVT 300 for training and assessment of Certificates and Diplomas in Technical, Engineering and Business programmes. and Assessment Centre No UVT 938 for training and assessment of Uganda Vocational Qualifications Framework – UVQF.
- Accredited by the TVET Council of Uganda as a Training Provider. This is in accordance with the TVET Act 2025. Section 125 subsection (a).
- Registered by Ministry of Education and Sports in June 1986. Registration Certificate No. PCS/A/13
ACCT has two admissions a year in February and August.
